Camping in Cleburne

Whether you’re interested in hiking, fishing, camping or biking, there’s something for you to do here! With 528 acres to explore including water recreation areas, this lush exploration area is home to plenty of fossils and wildlife.

Visit in the spring to see flowers bloom, but also enjoy the end of season foliage late in the year, crisp air in the winter or perfect greenery through the summer.

Pet Friendly Camping

Pets are welcome at Cleburne State Park, but always remember to leash your fur friend and pick up waste after them.

When it comes to camping at Cleburne State Park, you can choose to tent camp with electricity or bring out your camper as the park offers sites with full hookups (20/30/50 AMP). Each site includes water and has public restrooms nearby. Some even include lantern hookups.

Cost of Admission

This park is run by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The daily rate at the park is free for children 12 and under, anyone born before September 1, 1930 and disabled veterans. The daily entrance fee is $6 for people aged 13 and up or individuals can purchase a Texas State Parks Pass for $70.
